What is therapy?
Therapy is structured meetings with a licensed provider and client to complete a client’s life goal. Both work collaboratively to identify improvements between sessions. Therapists use evidence based processes to assist with a wide variety of issues and concerns.
What do the letters behind my therapists name mean?
The letters behind a therapists name better help identify either their education level or license status.
Masters Degree: MA, MS, Med
Doctoral Degree: PhD, PsyD, EdD
Licensed Professional Counselor: LPC
Licensed Clinical Social Worker: LCSW
Provisional Professional Counselor: PLPC

Who benefits from therapy?
Really, everyone can benefit from therapy! Having a fresh, unbiased opinion and support can help significantly with problem solving and coping strategies. How much you get out of therapy depends on how ready you are to work at it.
How do I prepare for the first session?
Relax, it will just be a conversation. First sessions are a chance for your therapist to get to know you through an initial assessment and discussing your concerns and goals for therapy. Together, you will formulate a plan that you will work on in the following sessions.
What is the difference between Counseling & Life Coaching?
Counseling services are provided to assist in acclimatizing to past and present issues. Alternatively, life coaching is centered on looking to the future and planning change and growth.
What are some specific benefits of therapy?
Self confidence / esteem, improved communication skills, improved coping skills, a better understanding of yourself, recognizing patterns and developing new ones, and managing emotions in a positive manner.

Bee Well Counseling accepts several insurances as well as self pay. Insurances currently accepted are:
